A Sunny Day Development Center is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Bay, FL

Hello future team member!

We are so excited you are interested in pursuing a career with A Sunny Day Development Center! We love what we do, are always eager to learn and collaborate with others, and make work life balance a priority!

Let me tell you a little bit about A Sunny Day:

As a fellow BCBA, I recognize the extremely high burnout in this field. However, I love this field too much to just accept it. So, I have created a place where BCBA burnout prevention is the sole goal! It should be noted that this is the goal, so that we continually provide top quality services to the families we serve, but I recognize that can’t happen if BCBAs are burnt out. Therefore, we make the starting salary $65,000 for BCBAs, with room for raises and bonuses. We also have the following paid holidays:
NYD (reserved)
the last Wednesday and Thursday of March,
The second Monday in April
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
the week of July 4th
Labor Day and the day after Labor Day
Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving
and December 23rd - December 31st.

We also don’t utilize PTO. If you need to attend a doctor’s appointment, then go! Your pay will not decrease because you are taking care of yourself! We only see clients Monday through Thursday, and each full time clinicIan only needs a range of 25 - 27 hours per week. We try out best not to exceed 27 hours per week on any BCBA’s schedule.

More great benefits! There are annual bonuses, surprise bonuses, and paid monthly trainings (which include lunch). Monthly trainings are scheduled on the first Friday of each month from 10 AM - 2 PM, and do not require any loss of hours to attend. Furthermore! If you don’t have any meetings scheduled, you are free to do your Friday paperwork from home! Finished all your work by Thursday night and don’t have anything scheduled on Friday? Take the day off! As long as all work is completed appropriately, we will not require anything else from you on Fridays. We also highly focus on career development! We have set up approximately 18 different areas to pursue a career focus, and raises can be given for taking on additional tasks in these areas!

As stated earlier, we love what we do! And we want to have fun with this amazing career! However, we do require hard work. Each BCBA is required to collaborate with additional services for each client; allow for parent communication and collaboration at the end of each session minimum; complete monthly parent trainings and behavior modifications; maintain weekly required hours; attend to their clients in sessions; ensure high rapport with clients and families; efficient communication with parents, team members, etc.; submit quality reports and paperwork by their deadlines; be time efficient; be dependent for their clients and team; and complete all job duties with quality work.

We are a simple company, we do our job with quality work, love what we do, always want to grow, and always strive to provide the best for our families!

If you’re interested in joining this amazing team, please reach out! We would love to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Martine Flake, CEO, BCBA
